re: Ann: Young Nickel Laterite Chloride Leach... Driven by curiosity I called a contact at SMS Demag, who confirmed that they have the new acid regeneration process, have the pilot and have an order for such a plant from a customer in USA.
He also confirmed that the process is suitable for acid regeneration in nickel laterite processing.
However he did neither want to confirm/deny that they are working on anything like that nor that they are working with Jervois or any of their consultants.
Is JRV likely to drop any further?
Now, that the technology is available at a credible supplier, they can either try to finance applying it themselves or sell off the Young resource to somebody who can afford the required capital investment.
Are there any "hidden defects" in Jervois or can I safely start buying in while it is that cheap?
Are there other laterite miners with a stronger balance sheet who could benefit from the same technology?
