Many times over many years on this site people have also had similar feelings, but all have been wrong. This stock has long been the trap of tattslotto players who look at it and see that a couple of ticks up in the stock price results in a huge percentage gain, forgetting that the same thing happens in the other direction.
Generally most events follow a predictable course, unless there is some external factor to change the situation. The question that all stockholders should ask themselves with a floundering company is what is going to be the driver of a change of their fortunes? Obviously in this case the only possible driver is a substantial revenue increase, and people have been saying for years that YPB just needs one really big deal. The question is, if that in ten years no such deals have appeared (and there also have been few small deals), then why would they suddenly appear now? In fact, one is now less likely to appear because the company requires constant cash injections, and if one fails the company is dead and the customer is left in the lurch.
Of course it is possible, though highly improbable, that a deal of substance should suddenly materialise but the odds are deeply against shareholders. Time is also against shareholders as YPB burns cash by the day and with a dilution or two even a big deal will not save them.
It is this unsubstantiated improbable hope that keeps the share price at 0.5c rather than its true value of 0.1c.
