how will directors feed themselves

The arse has fallen out of the spec market. Those spec mining stocks that have only hopeful ground with little chance of production that have just floated will have a strong cash postion. Now the market is flat directors can no longer "mine the market"because the bigger fool theory is not alive at the moment. So I wonder if director fees will rise and consultancy fees to the companies will increase from parties that are supposedly unrelated to the directors. We have seen a bubble and all those spin outs that were once keenly sort after will drop because the ground they had was rubbish in the first place. I have seen this cycle at least 3 times now. During the bubble one writes chqs as fast as one can , then the stock lists and you belt it out and write another chq, belt out write chq etc until you smell a rat (in this case subprime)then sell the lot. Most spec mining companies have nothing but distant hopes and will dwindle into a reconstruction oblivion. By that time the vendors and seed player in the float will be long gone leaving the mess to people that bought the stock in the float at 20c and on market-those mums and dads that bought it orginally to help build a strong Australia. It is true a fraction of specs are run by people that truely want to start a mine. I prefere to sell in to the bubble and forget the mine, its much safer. Happy collecting 7.15% at rabo.
