I don't understand why people don't give the big boys...

I don't understand why people don't give the big boys brokers the flick when there's a great cheap online version?!
For those too busy working etc it's a good alternative to have brokers to work for you but it's a Russian roulette if they're any good.
I have found out you really need to have time to play the share markets, working full time was too hard to do it for me. Since I've retired, I have time to research and keep an eye out It's bloody addictive too! I don't bother with any other gambling like pokies. That's too boring now and too small a payout. Lol.
The problem is newbies really needs to research the hell out of of the stock markets before dipping their toes in. Luckily I've been following some shares for 5 years before I got serious. Even then I got sucked in with pump and dump schemes
If only there were a star rated stocks where you can only rate it once, and change ratings, via your own broker... then we'd avoid the crap ones Oh well, too much common sense I guess.
