For them to have applied for International patents it means nobodyelse is doing it, or at least the attorney conducting the IP filing was unable to find another company doing the same.
They used the expression 'expanded IP' which could mean expanded or it could mean being even more specific in their existing IP. If there are other companies doing the same research, then the more specific IP may be the saving grace in a dispute. MTO
They can do their roadshows and seminar to medical experts now. The details will be too difficult to fully appreciate by non-industry people / public.
