re: Ann: Zenith acquires key ground at Mt Ale... Hi Cmark,

I think if you look at the history of the project, and what has been announced, you'll find that the company is confident of this project having a resource upgrade, and being developed to production. They've just added a tenement that equates to over 25% of the total project area. They have stated that the newly acquired area would be suited to mine layout and access points, as well as growing the resource target.

I don't know one way or another if a merger or sale will take place any time soon, but what appears to be happening is that the company is continuing to invest in Mt Alexander so as to make it a no brainier for an investor to come in with development finance. Obviously with the current environment, getting that finance for new mining projects is much harder than it was 5yrs ago so they will simply continue to tick off as many boxes as possible (ground water, environmental approval etc. etc.). While doing that, if they continually expand the resource estimate, it becomes more and more attractive. The value certainly hasn't been realised in the share price yet. I'm holding for the long term, so will be interesting to see how it plays out.

    DYOR etc.
