The market is a funny thing. VUL have just raised funds and are now in a better financial position than a month ago with a pilot plant and long lead items being purchased with the recent capital raising. Then you have LKE who are valued by Mr Market at $200m more than VUL yet have no pilot plant and are situated in Argentina who’s inflation is through the roof making them rather uncertain for project viability and political stability. RIO have backed off of Argentinian projects recently due to this. The contrarian in me feels VUL is the better of the two to take a position in so I’ll be building my position over the next few weeks.
