They are being paid what they are because they are trying to launch perhaps one of the largest and most profitable Lithium export operations globally. There are international eyes on this project, as the attempted theft of assets by Zijin, the second largest Gold Miner in China with links directly to the PRC leadership demonstrates.

As a shareholder, I am not complaining about what they are paid, or about how many of them there are. Those are my concerns.

correct. and there is also a lot at risk for them. dealing with corruption on these levels with so much at stake (which I imagine would also require a security detail in-country) would not be for everyone. a weaker management team would have just done what the MMGA idiots will do. which is cave-in and probably sell the project for 2c a share. which is bad for us, bad for lithium pricing as China could control, and bad for not only the local area of Manono but greater DRC as the good people there just keep getting screwed over.
I'm not immune, this is affecting my family as well.
It is very easy to just lump it on them and blame management, but they obviously didn't want any of this. they just wanted to drill and mine to the letter of the law. but when you deal with ministers and officials who ignore the law. it makes it very hard.
