Excellent points all round. My first thought with Z1P signing up OW is whether or not this opens up opportunities for other WES businesses ... well, only one really: Bunnings. The Z1P products would be an excellent fit for instore purchases at Bunnings, and AFAIK, APT isn't in there yet.
Speaking of APT, their biggest advantage has been their marketing, which has led to them bringing on many big name online and B&M retailers fairly quickly. Z1P, on the other hand, appears to have a more robust back end structure and customer vetting processes, thus they've been something of a slow burner.
The most telling thing is that I've heard many people using the word 'Afterpay' as a verb, but not one person use 'ZipPay' or 'ZipMoney' as a verb. This suggests that Z1P has a way to go to get itself as well known as APT, although the fact they've been more cautious with the implementation of their product makes me believe that they have more long term growth potential than APT.
