Here's some reasons that posters/market say that ZIP won't succeed and growth will slow down, they've been proven wrong.
- Apple is entering the market with Goldman Sachs... So far nothing has eventuated and Goldman Sachs bought their own BNPL business.
- The US rebrand will slow down growth.. So far it's still growing at record rates.
- ZIP is overvalued.. APT is 10x more overvalued and Square purchased it.
- UK growth was slow (I did agree with this).. The UK was in a full lockdown and only just returned to normal in mid July 2021, it was difficult for ZIP to sign up merchants. They've shown the growth this quarter and I expect the UK to grow nicely from here, we need to be patient here.
