There is one critical difference between Amazon and ebay payments.
When U buy on eBay, U pay the seller, eBay then bills the seller for commission monthly, which means the seller has to have their own afterpay capabilities, no doubt eBay will offer an easy integration service for this, but it's a hurdle.
When U buy on Amazon U pay amazon, then Amazon distributes the leftover funds after taking their cut.
This means that Amazon will likely have zip available to all customers on all products with one central zip account, eBay will be luck of the draw, eBay is flooded with Chinese sellers and dropshippers who probably can't or won't bother.
