That's what they are hoping for, 25% of them vest based on volume targets, so hopefully that aligns interests, but they still get 75% of them for free. If the SP surges past 4.70 they could make themselves some quick easy money
I just haven't seen a BNPL pay to acquire retailers before, it's kind of like fundraising to buy growth. It may pay off in the long run though but hopefully this doesn't set a precedent.
