Defending the faith and doing the research, they are. In India the Reserve Bank banned BNPL providers from loading credit facilities onto anything but credit cards and bank accounts to prevent the sub economy of phantom loans developing. They wiped out the wallets and issued cards which were threatening to create a dual economy. Might be too late to do that in the US but the Feds are going to try to bring BNPL activity into the tent.
