My question is. If ZIP have been doing credit checks why do they have so much higher bad debt ratio than credit cards? CBA with StepPay know exactly the credit worthiness of the customer and I suspect StepPay will have similar bad debts to their credit cards. Same for all the other banks BNPL products.
