Clearly some people don't understand why a trading halt was put in place prior to today's announcement. It isn't rocket science - trading halts are put in place to protect you from trades that might be made on information that is not available to the general public. This includes situations where an option to acquire a facility might require finalization of commercial agreements prior to being able to make an announcement. Some unscrupulous types may be tempted to make insider trades on their knowledge of these negotiations, and so a trading halt is instigated to ensure that doesn't happen.

On the subject of drilling, the "Major Zinc Drilling Program to Commence" on 2/3/2017 clearly stated that drilling would commence around 10 March... So in other words - R E L A X.
