This is a complete vindication for the posters on here who were skeptical of the joint venture and agitated for updates, transparency, and change. The setup never made sense and was always doomed to severe conflicts of interest. Well done to everyone who kept asking questions and applying pressure (however mild).

While either outcome should be better than the status quo, I find it hard to imagine any plausible scenario where Roadpost takes 100% ownership. Given Beam is the manufacturer and owner of the device IP, it would be a nightmare to negotiate fair production costs and continue collaboration etc.

I hope we have some smart negotiators at the top but, given they created this quagmire, I'm not all that confident. Fingers crossed for a quick and equitable resolution.
