Thanks Chuxa for the tag. I continue to watch this with interest at a distance.

the one question I do not understand is the assumption in attributing any value to the joint venture that if beam owned 100% of it they would automatically get roadposts royalties.

As far as I understood the distribution agreements were seperate to the actual ownership of the JV in the same way nestle owns its company and sells at wholesale prices and Coles makes a margin and sells at retail prices. Ie any change in ownership of nestle only gives them the wholesale margin (ie very thin margin on the Zoleo device itself) and the retail margin continues to go to the onseller.

I would be interested to have this corrected with facts versus assumptions but I doubt that’s possible as the terms of the JV and seperate respective distribution agreements, or whether all bound into the one ownership vehicle, have never been disclosed.
