The reality is that neither Roadpost or Beam can afford to pay the other what each would want for their stake.
Hence why selling to a 3rd party, with deep pockets (ie: Iridium) is likely the best outcome.
Beam then manufacture the ZOLEO for a fair market price (unlike what the JV received).
Beam should retain ownership of the IP of the device / design and get a small royalty for airtime.
Easiest and quickest way to a deal that satisfies all parties.
