It's going to cost millions to get the 50% of the ZOLEO JV back, even with a favorable arbitration ruling.
They'll probably have to do a sizeable capital raise, unless they can get vendor financing, which is unlikely.
And Roadpost won't for a second acknowledge that the JV buys the ZOLEO's from Beam at a below market rates.
Would be interesting to see the difference in 40% hardware margins compared to the 15% we get.
This is part of the reason why I think Beam and Roadpost should be selling ZOLEO to Iridium.
ZOLEO is already what 5 years into its useful life, which is maybe 10 years max.
Take a big chunk of cash and sell the ZOLEO's to Iridium at decent margins and move on.
Then create the next gen devices with the right commercial model.
