The Directors of Alliance Resources Limited, are very disappointed to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Alliance Craton Explorer Pty Ltd (ACE), has been unsuccessful in its application to the Federal Court of Australia Limited to obtain access to certain documents relating to the Four Mile Joint Project from both Quasar Resources Pty Ltd (Quasar), the current manager of the Project, and Heathgate Resources Pty Ltd (Heathgate), the former manager of the Project and current provider of services to Quasar (Action SAD 180/2009).
However, in the other proceedings (Action VID 551/2010), orders have been made for some discovery from Quasar and Heathgate. No order has been made on the application for interrogatories which has been held over to a date to be fixed.
Reasons for the judgments are expected to be delivered on 4 April 2010.
ACE had understood, after discussions with the Associate to the presiding Judge, that judgment would not be delivered yesterday but would be held over and delivered, with the reasons, on 4 April. Accordingly, ACE was not represented at the hearing and only late this morning obtained a copy of the orders.
