By implication this article suggests that at one stage KCM was considering the project but had conflicting internal management issues, probably relating to and refelected in the poorer than expected performance of the company's flagship mine in Thailand.
KCM's decison making and performance over the last 36 months has not been outstanding.
But all of this is really old and (with respect) irrelevant history now.
We might also reflect on CRA if that was the case.
