    Your thoughts on Barrick are plausible
    During the tender process Barrick, Newmont and Union Pacfic expressed interest
    Union Pacific was selected over the other two as the preffered bid @ $3.9M

    Quite an acheivement for a small PNG family business with no local.mining experience or funds, they beat out two very substantial mining companies.
    One of them, as you say is right there.

    How does that happen???
