It was the RIU Resurgence Conference from September.

I too hadforgotten about paint but, I was struck by Andy’s “tamed” enthusiasm whenwatching the presentation. I made a mental “note to self” that there wassomething going on there that needed revisiting.

Have a lookat SAR’s discovery hole at Karari: chip samples, geology, large intercept(albeit lowing grade) ... I’m learning to appreciate low grades in AC holes inthat they are pointers ...

After three years Involved in a R&D project, it would be hard to imagine NXM didn’t gleam some understanding of the area and potential that exists.

”...Nexus is undertaking a Research and Development project, aiming to developnew knowledge on the application of spectral data in the mineral explorationindustry. The project involves the experimentation of new exploration andgeo-sensing techniques utilizing spectral data. The experimental activitieswill attempt to achieve an outcome by applying a systematic progression of workthat proceeds from hypothesis to experimental phase (or phases as required),observation and evaluation, leading to logical conclusions. This will result inthe generation of new scientific knowledge.

The R&D project is beingundertaken on both Nexus’ Wallbrook and Pinnacles Gold Projects, where relevantgeological and mineralogical characteristics are known or are beingcharacterized by Nexus, which assists in the evaluation of the new explorationtechnique. Multiple project areas allow for a series of varying geologicalsettings upon which to undertake the experimental activities and gathersufficient samples/datasets to allow logical conclusions to be reached post analysis.

The research and developmentproject will be undertaken over an approximate four-year time line, whichcommenced July 2017, with the first two-three years mainly consisting of datacollection with ongoing analysis and the final year consisting of results-basedinterpretation and conclusions. The drill chip trays from the 2019 RC drillprogram at Wallbrook, and those from the recently completed aircore program atTemplar prospect (Wallbrook Project), were analysed in the March 2020 quarter,using a TerraSpec SWIR unit attached to spectra acquisition software. Finalanalysis of the results and report writing were completed during the Junequarter.”

I’m thinking of getting back in the queue again. Sadly I sold a trading parcel at 12c about two weeks back thinking I’d get back in but, it got away from me ...
