Yes, it is going to be very interesting to see how Anna Blight and her government shift the blame.

The Qld public service for the last 15 years or so has been gradually taken over by card carrying Labor supporters. OK they are too clever to carry cards, but a lot of good people in high places have been replaced by people who are connected!!

Peter Beattie started this. More media staff than any other professionals. At the end, my department, a planning department of over 1500 people had only 40 planners and more than twice that number of media guys to sell the government message. Health department is the same way. Hardly sufficient doctors, but more than sufficient media staff to sell the government message. Look at any QLD department.

Wrong people getting promoted. Hence we have people in charge of water who have no idea. But good Labor people.
Labor stacking of the public service has cost QLD and Australia upwards of $20 Billion and rising.!!
