I've just spent 10-15mins skimming back through posts from the pat couple of weeks, but can't find the post I was looking for.
Someone suggested or raised the issue of class action by shareholders.
I've thought about it and it sounds a little daunting to me in isolation.
However, if Cougar itself were to instigate multi party proceedings, could be value/power in a "joined" shareholder class action? Any legal opinions out there?
I can see commonality and efficiencies in evidence ... I can also see common legal representation ... a whole lot more press and the public relations efforts of many.
I can definitely see a Queensland Labor Govt 12-18 months out from the polls not enjoying the scrutiny such a case would bring ... especially if it gains traction from a probity, watchdog, ombudsman and liberal opposition perspective.
It may be worthwhile exploring this option and assesssing interest ahead any possible company instigated actions imo?
