Anna, I think you posted on tawny port back a little.
I ask because I have recieved, as a gift from a Chinese friend, a gallon jar half full of ginseng and other herbs. Into this is added brandy and prunes.
I don't like straight spirits and the prunes are inedible to my western taste so I am wondering how red wine or port may go in this. Maybe cranberry juice would work.
Any hints anyone?
While searching for your posts on port I saw your post on Gore Vidal's thoughts, with no replies. It deserved better.
