I find it hard to see this as much more than a keeping the market informed announcement similar to announcing current well depth. Possibly constructed to ward off the speculation the well had been written off already. In my view the announcement neither rights off nor is a reason for higher level of optimism about the well(s)....... though it is disappointing a more conclusive result has not been realised already which could reasonably have been expected in the time frame.

Interesting stockanalyst1 queries how poster can opine on so many different subjects. Do you extend this also to analysis such as performed by Stockanalysis et. al. who as far as I can see have never evaluated a petroleum resource yet are happy to pass benediction on the validity of resource assessments and many investors cite as reasons should buy the stock????
