Will also show the Chinese that SDL can source funds quickly if needed.
That there is a lot of interest from other parties,and make the Chinese aware there are other avenues to finance.
This way that SDL have gone will make them think that SDL are not reliant on Chinese funds.
If SDL had gone to the Chinese for this funding,it would have weakened SDL's bargaining power in talks for long term funding and infrastructure.
