It could also show the Chinese that SDL is prepared to 'sell' cheaply.
If you want to show strength in a market place I would have thought that you would offer stock at the same price as Hanalong paid $0.44
Everything is easy to 'sell' if it is perceived to be in the discount isle. (look at the boxing day sales for example)
