That’s my point exactly. The MIPS vaccine trial is just a sideshow for IDT (although one that could pay off big in a couple of years) and upgrading the facilities were not intended for producing the MIPS trial doses but they came in handy for that.
The exclusivity period with Health expires in about 5 weeks and if it isn’t extended (maybe for an additional fee) IDT will be able to use the facilities as it pleases.
Biocelect is the sponsor for Novavax in Australia and New Zealand and I’m sure it has a hand in advising Novavax on local manufacturing potential.
