Broadcast Services Australia Limited (ASX: BSA) advises it has now reviewed management financial results (unaudited) for the period 1 July 2004 to 31 December 2004. The company’s results for the first half year will be soft as foreshadowed in late November at the Company’s AGM. Revenue for the half year has increased substantially over the corresponding period of the prior year, however, due to a number of unanticipated one-off occurrences, EBITDA is expected to be less than half that generated in the same period last year. As a consequence, it is now unlikely that the second half performance will enable the Company to meet its full year result as mentioned in the Company’s AGM announcement. We are confident that the occurrences that have caused this result are not recurring and expect the second half of the year to perform similarly to the second half of the prior year EBITDA. The problems encountered in the first half, changes to business processes and extended activities of the company will be more fully outlined when the company makes its half year announcement following completion of the half year review, in late February.
