NexusBattle (NBT) intends to pursue Section 249D of the Corporations Act (2001) to request the directors of Seven Group Holdings Limited (SGH) to call a general meeting of its shareholders. Provisions of section 249D allows for 100 members (shareholders) entitled to vote at a general meeting of SGH to make such a request.

The NexusBattle team have each recently bought, or are in process of buying, a minimum parcel of shares in Seven Group Holdings (ASX: SVW).

As shareholders of Seven Group Holding, we believe there is justification for this action as a recent detailed report by Institutional Shareholder Services Inc. (ISS) into the proposed transaction has raised material corporate governance concerns regarding the transaction. We believe this issue has a significant potential to cause ongoing damage for Seven Group Holdings. The final proposals to be put to the meeting will be advised to SVW holders in due course.
