nosteril, I'm not so sure the big day traders will reappear - unless the news is earth shattering. In my experience with these long-awaited announcements, the traders have been there done that by now - when the announcment comes it will only be the inexperienced and optimistic buying, while most will sell into that final rally - forcing the price down from where it is now. I think those pushing the price up with the big buys of 4,5, 6 million shares have moved on to the next target, because with the announcement imminent they may get caught out with those big parcels that they have no intention of holding.
