I worked with large companies all my professional life and one thing is for sure, they do like to get in cheap, thats how they stay rich.

That's for usre. Takeovers are almost always opportunistic. Rarely would you get true value. As an investor the question for me is do I accept the offer and realise the gains now, or potentially wait 2 years and potentially realise x times gains then (with ultimately greater risk). Funny how every investment decision comes down to risk versus reward :-)
