I worked as a geophysicist for 17 years here in the UK.
Also have done some bush work, while on a working holiday visa in Oz way back in 1986. Just trenching (with Shell/Biliton) put it got me out in the middle of bush and covered the cost of the flight.
When you did this survey work way back, were you collecting samples or were you taking measurements? What is the radiometric data like for this area?
