I have a very good mate of mine whom is very high up in a mineral company ( he is a rock licker) ( and they have jumped +-33% in the last two consecutive days on the ASX*) and have personally watched him finalizing the assay results on tenements which he then presents to senior management and they spend from a week to two weeks in meetings for meetings before the results are made public..

* I personally thanked him this morning for giving me the heads up on jumping aboard.. NOT.. I could of landed 3 bags.. but that's the nature of this business.. if caught for insider trading.. chop chop go those nuts.. so alas I did not get the old wink from him to jump aboard..

So yes they can have meetings for meetings and then only call the TH to make the info public..
