As forshadowed in my last post, the announcement is delayed until early in the new year so that additional drilling data can be incorporated in the resource estimates. This is much more positive than a trading halt. Well done WGR.
This is positive as the result will be viewed by a much wider audience. What is surprising however is that the Resource estimates would have otherwise been calculated without the benefit of all the 2009 drilling results. I'm glad this is now happening as it should give a bigger resource.
The small print shows that the true width of the mineralization is approx 50% of the drill intercept. This is valuable information as it enables one to get a feeling for the scale of mineralization. The other valuable geologic data is that the deposit plunges Eastwards.
