Agree. We all knew that the company would require additional funds. It was only a matter of time. That was a given. How they raise these funds is of course of interest to us shareholders. That is the issue.
But when you look at the long-term potential of the revenues and the life expectancy of the Isabel project, what AVQ raise now will no doubt pale into insignificance.
This is been a bumpy road thus far... no denying that. Funds were chewed up on legal costs at a rate of knots, having staff and equipment on standby for so long, drilling costs to obtain the JORC and the list goes on..... All this required money.
But with other producers being suspended or shut-down by political bureaucrats in other (lesser developed) countries, this can only enhance the price of nickel which will ultimately improve the bottom line for us.
We have heard from the SI PM that they want Australian companies to come into the Solomon's and unleash the untapped resources and bring wealth and better living standards to the people of the SI's.
We all know this is a gamble (as is any speculative stock) and yes, there are risks... but sometimes in life you have to take a few in order to get ahead.
Patience people and let this unfold naturally and without elevating your stress levels.
Breathe....... and count.
