Not to discredit your intel, or to agree with Nestle T/O speculation, but if they were looking to launch a bid for a2, I assume the negotiations would be with the Global HQ, not the Sydney HQ. Otherwise the word would spread way too quickly and you would see a bunch of insider trading going on. a2 have managed to keep every major announcement an absolute secret until they announce it.
