New Horizons for TeleMedCare UK

TeleMedCare Limited, welcomes the appointment of Alan Payne as the
Interim group CEO and Business Development Manager responsible for the
global sales initiative and continued development of the TeleMedCare (TMC)
e-health products.
Alan is a Chartered Management Accountant with extensive Business
Development experience that includes over 20 years in Healthcare,
Technology and Capital Markets, bringing innovation, vision, knowledge,
drive and the ability to deliver globally across multiple businesses and
support functions. He has proven ability to commercially negotiate complex
contracts, and a deep knowledge of developing sophisticated e-Health SOA
platforms in a high pressure and diverse software business development
environment in international cultures and organizations.
Alan has worked at several major Financial Institutions, including CTO at
JPMorganChase, Director of Finance Technology at Merrill Lynch and was a
VP of Sales for Oracles Banking division in Asia Pacific. His most recent roles
have been in consulting to TeleMedCare Ltd in the UK and in assistive
development of IP at University College London.
On his appointment and commenting on the future direction of TeleMedCare,
Alan stated, This is an exciting time for TMC. Following a recent strategic
financial and corporate re-structure within our Australian parent group, we
are now superbly positioned to grow our business both within the UK and
globally. I am looking forward to working with TMC senior management in
realizing the significant opportunities that the TeleMedCare products have in
a global market that is currently in a major e-health adoption phase.
About the relationship with Stirling Products, Alan commented, Our new
majority shareholder has significant experience and relationships within the
medtech and healthcare sectors. We are looking forward to working with
Stirling Products team in developing our business models to support services
within multiple environments including clinical and home monitoring. Being
recently awarded an Assistive Technologies framework agreement by Buying
Solutions will play a key role in developing our significant business
opportunities in the UK.
TeleMedCare was awarded an Assistive Technologies framework agreement
by Buying Solutions, the national procurement partner for all UK public
services, and is part of the Efficiency and Reform Group within the Cabinet
Office. TeleMedCares framework agreement is for two years, (with an option
of two further one year extensions) and covers the purchase, installation,
maintenance, monitoring, coaching and management of its award winning
telehealth and e-health solutions to the public sector markets including
government departments, NHS Trusts and other public bodies. We are
looking forward to expanding our services and new solutions with our
partners within the NHS and private industries
