The smart money knows the 1300PJ is a fait d'accomplis. It will be certified earlier than the 'end of the 2009', and will likely exceed that target.
ESG have the technical issues SORTED. More gas, from less coal, over a wider area. And at a lower cost.
The only thing I am now waiting for is some progress on the marketing side. But as Hardmano or someone else suggested, "find the gas and the industrial uses for it will be found...". This is certainly what happened in QLD.
One other observation. Read between the lines. You can just 'feel' the quiet bullishness in Casey's recent announcements. He knows ESG is about to enter the big league, and the many years of technical work is about to come to fruition.
The ducks are lining up for ESG...
