If the yen appreciates too much that also causes problems...hence the reason for the action to buy to keep it down by government intervention.Im not saying that plv isnt a good investment...just saying dont believe everything you hear and make your own judgements with the provided information. Sometimes the information not provided tells you more about whats going on than that provided. I agree long term we will see strong commodity prices but we will have extreme volatility in the short term. Thats why i am overweight in commodities as most of my strategy is long term. Is right to question and analyse all the information available good or bad.
