Thanks very much for your opinions. There is no doubt about your expertise.
Trying to be a reasonable and rational person I'd make the observation that in everyday life I constantly see very intelligent very well qualified people in total disagreement with each other. I'd offer as an example Ben Bernanke on one side and a load of well qualified experienced experts on the other who totally disagree with QE. There are many other examples in scientific disciplines where each side has a wealth of data and good science on their side.
I'm hoping some of the experts who believe in the AVB story (please don't let my using the term 'expert' put you off ) will respond. It may be that you believe you've already extensively put your case and don't require to, but I'm guessing some of us 'lay hopefuls' hope you will.
I'm also hoping that just this once people with nothing but emotion to contribute can have a rest, no doubt a day or two off will allow you to come back even more energized.
