Western Desert Resources Limited (ASX: WDR) today announced the results of a revised Mineral Resource estimate for Area F (east) within its 100%-owned Roper Bar Iron Ore Project in the Northern Territory.

The new Mineral Resource estimate now includes material in the Indicated category. The total Mineral Resource within Area F (east) is 20Mt @ 48.7% Fe, 23.2% SiO2, 3.0% Al2O3 and 0.01% P (30% Fe cut-off).
This includes a high grade DSO core of 9.8Mt @ 58.3% Fe, 10.7% SiO2, 2.6% Al2O3 and 0.01% P (at 30% Fe cut-off). Full results are shown in Table 1.
