    1 cent per tonne gross profit on billions of tonnes of coal sounds good until you consider the need for a return on investment. I know you're not seriously advocating that we can actually sell exploration target tonnage for 1 cent and it's a discussion point.

    Let's assume we can get 1c profit per tonne of coal and that we can indeed recover all that coal. What sort of return on investment would it be if it only costs $1 per tonne to extract it (and it will cost much much more than that). It would be a 1% ROI. Why would you bother?
