Totally agree with that. Something else is in the wings. Todays anouncement is part of a much bigger plan where CTP will be entering into a Number of JV's and development agreements to allow it to develop its potential resources.

By putting out to tender to develop its coals etc CTP can hope to share in a future mega development by providing its coal leases to a consortium. No amount of CR's would be able to raise the 7.5 Bill...(Now Mr Magoo and OilSlick are double doubters...lol) The good news we will find out if this is a goer in under 9 months. The new kids on the block intermediary co will be trying its hardest to flog this project as well and make its name as an Aussie resource development house. The ability to Focus and assemble the right players will be an advantage Newbie may have over the more developed Merchant Banks. By kicking off with a tender process to Aussie and Foreign players many of the FIRB boxes may also be pre ticked.

Best of all for me is the fact that the development path and focus for CTP is now clearer....
Pedrika Coals will be developed and commercialised by a consortium of Big Boys with a profit share being paid back to SH. (we will own the resources they will own finance and have full control of the development and commercialisation)
JV's and TSX Cap raisings will be used to finance CTP's conventional and tight Oils and Gas. CTP Mgt focus is therefore on the oil and gas development starting with the drilling of surprise!!!!.

I for one now expect anouncement of a number of JV's in the next 2 months leading up to the drilling of Suprise.

Quite happy with this development and more than happy to keep holding.
