Bankable Feasibility Study:

Today's announcement will commence the search for $300m in funding and technology partners for a Bankable Feasibility Study (BFS) from a major global and Australian sources. Funders will be asked to formally respond to a Request for Proposal (RFP) process in the December half of 2011.


Well I guess I had the $300mill and the UCG/GTL part right !!

Hopefully the Major is in the wings and all this is just the due diligence part to get it out to the market.

I guess it wouldn't have any local ramifications with Gov if the proposal was advertised to local companies before it was snapped up by Chinese or Indian interests.

What is interesting is that this could be huge. What CTP are saying here is that Australia's supply interests are taken care of first and any surplus supply can go wherever.

Can't get more Australian than that.
