Mike said this about the Koreans:

"this (Korean) coal trading company, which sought out ECT when it identified Coldry as the preferred coal de-watering technology as part of its own technology evaluation program."

Mike said this about the Japanese at the AGM:

Earlier, I mentioned the Sojitz Corporation of Japan. On my visit to Sojitz in July this year, they identified how
they compare Coldry with other lignite de-watering technologies.
Their comparisons showed that Coldry:
? Has favourable product characteristics (that is high calorific value, low sulphur and low ash content)
? Has competitive CAPEX (not the highest or lowest)
? Has favourable OPEX (lower than most competing technologies)
? The Coldry process produces clean water (some others processes produce contaminated water)
They also commented that the Victorian lignite resource is world class and Australia has low sovereign risk.
It was pleasing to have expert opinion like this to confirm the advantages of Coldry over competing
technologies.

Penny is dropping - Tincom, Koreans,Japanese all reckon Coldry is the King....and the Chinese/Indians are close behind.

Matmor in India - India has very little high grade iron ore...BUT enormous reserves of low grade ore. India also has very little coking coal....BUT enormous reserves of brown coal. Perffffect!
