CB, I took "proximal to the well" to be fairly obvious as meaning only the area that Surprise 1 was likely to draw from.

Surprise 2 and 3 will be spaced so that they draw down in their own areas , and any interaction between wells will be at the margins and not significantly effect the total draw of each well.

At 8 square kilometres this could mean a total number of wells greater than 8. I'm no expert but spacings overseas all seem to be 1.5 up to 3 or 4 per aquare kilometer. Happy to be corrected here.

A $30 million profit from each of 8 wells doesn't seem to diasterous.
