    Howdy All

Yes, on the face of it, the ann is a bit disappointing.

However, let's not forget this is a great outcome for MNM.

    We now have:

    1) Legal ownership of MtM tenements.
    2) Traditional owners agreement progressing to develop MtM.
    3) Calcifer paying legal costs.

It has taken 3 years to get to this point.

    Let's also acknowledge:

    1) State Government have viewed the land as "sterile".
    2) A "proposal" to convert this land into National Park.

Obviously, considering that no development application/progression has been made on MtM, it is viewed as "sterile" land and as such, has been proposed to be classified as National Park.

MNM can now vigorously pursue the ILUA with the traditional custodians (already underway) and can then engage with the Govt to actually inform them that this land is not "sterile" and that a massive mining opportunity potential exists for the benfit of many, the traditional owners and the State.

Let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater here - mining occurs in National Parks elsewhere - obviously not straightforward as we would like, but certainly doable.

A recent article below in relation to another proposed National Park and mining venture:

    http://www.miningaustralia.com.au/news/national-park-may-not-stop-dharawal-mining

Difference with the above is the area is not classified as sterile!

So, yes whilst some of us here will get emotional and slag off management (yet again), it is hard to see what more IK and the team could be doing here!

We have won the court trial! MtM tenements are MNMs! The traditional custodians want to work with MNM! Calcifer will pay legals fees!

There is a lot to be happy about.

To blame MNM management that the State Govt (which MNM have no control over) see the land as useless and therefore propose a National Park (when we had no legal right over MtM) is a little ridiculous.

It is just another hurdle which we will overcome and, hopefully, in a lot less time than the 3 years that has gone into this already.

    Cheers K
